In almost all the industries and the factories water is the major ingredient that is taken into use but also for countries like India it is a huge matter of concern, it is so as here in India water scarcity is a major issue as India is the second most populated country after china and thus the water needs of the country are also increasing day by day so in a country like ours it is very much essential to use water on recycling basis especially it is more important to be used at those places on the recyclable basis because at the industries and also at various factors the huge amount of water is taken into use. 

So, for the purpose of fulfilling the recycling procedure of the water at the industries and factories, we can say that the use of an effluent treatment plant is really very much important and also needed as it is through the plant that the wastewater is treated and thus is made easily recyclable or we can say that through the plant the industrial wastewater is further made fit for reuse. But installing setting up and using the effluent treatment plant is not as easy as it seems here there are various factors that one needs to consider before actually getting into the whole process of using the plant at the industry or the factory. 

The factors that one should consider before starting with the process of setting up an effluent treatment plant in India are all given as follows:

  • Physical properties of water: All the physical parameters of the water should be checked before choosing the right type of treatment plant the physical parameters would include the turbidity, the temperature of the water that has to be treated also the color of the water should be checked. 
  • Chemical properties of water:  In the chemical properties of the water the user should check the total dissolved solids in the water also should check the inorganic substances in the water also the water alkalinity should be checked along with that the user should also get the hardness of the water checked. There are many other chemical properties of the water that should be checked.
  • Biological properties of water: Also, if one is planning to have an effluent treatment plant then the user should also consider the biological properties of the water.
All these properties of the water are really very important to be considered it is so because there are waters of different qualities that are to be put to treatment through the effluent treatment plant it is so because it is not just one standard type of plant that would be able to deal with all different types of wastewaters also there are various other types of wastewater treatment plant but still the effluent treatment plant is the best choice for the right treatment of the industrial wastewater treatment plant.

  • In the preliminary level the user should get the physical waste removed from the water, this stage further involves the process of sedimentation, filtration, aeration, flow equalization, clarification, and screening. 
  • At the primary level, the large solid particles are removed from the water at this stage in this both the physical and the chemical processes. 
  • Then comes the secondary level at that all the biodegradable organic materials are removed from the water. 
  • At the last is the tertiary level where all the physical, chemical, and biological procedures are used together.
